The history of the estate...

For several decades, training, cultural, human and spiritual development activities have been organised at Quinta de São Pedro de Penaferrim for a wide range of groups of people, mainly from the Lisbon area, but also from all over the country and abroad; attracted by the quality of the initiatives and also by the charm of a very pleasant place such as the entire area surrounding the Sintra mountains.

It has not been a property for tourism purposes - it is not available on any online hiring platform or similar in this sector of activity - but for training people who are interested in the training activities encouraged by the Foundation that embodies the initiative, without the intention of making a profit, but of serving society.

Its purpose can, in a way, be compared to that of other houses with similar training purposes, some of which are located in the same municipality of Sintra.
